About the Evening

Join us for hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, dinner and a live auction. Other activities include an expanded VIP punch board, jewelry experience and a decadent wine wall.

The evening’s program, emceed by KARE 11’s Belinda Jensen, will feature inspirational children’s stories and groundbreaking progress in pediatric cancer research. The evening will be capped off with our annual Fund a Need, live music and dancing.

Last year, the Dawn of a Dream Fund supported six projects which are helping doctors:

— Improve recovery after blood or marrow transplants. Today, children who receive transplants are at risk for deadly infections.

— Find new, less toxic drugs to treat lymphomas, the third most common cancer in children, adolescents and young adults.

— Understand the genetic reasons for liver tumors that occur most commonly in young children. Once doctors know more about the genetics behind the tumors, they can create targeted, less toxic treatments.

 — And more.

Since its inception in 2012, the Dawn of a Dream fund has raised $2.3 million and 23 research grants that are revolutionizing childhood cancer treatments.

If you are unable to attend this year’s gala, we hope you will please consider making a donation to the Dawn of a Dream Fund.
